SatNode One-Way Satellite internet is a great option for customers who thought they couldn’t get high-speed internet access. With SatNode One-Way you can receive web pages, software and download files via satellite at speeds of up to 1024 kbps!
One-way satellite service first sends data to your ISP through an analogue telephone line. Once your ISP receives the data, it sends the information to the Internet; however, it sends instructions to have the return data sent through the satellite to your home. When the request server receives the information, the data is then transmitted through a designated satellite to your antenna, and finally to your modem. System Requirements
Before signing up for SatNode One-Way Satellite Internet access you will need:
- PC with Windows 98, Me, 2000, NT or XP
- Internet terrestrial connection (GMS, GPRS, MODEM, RDSI, ADSL)
A DVB PC receiver card or USB box
- A Satellite Dish - 80cm in diameter (100cm for Canary Islands) oriented to Hispasat 30º West
